Purpose & Mandate of IBUF

The International Butthan Federation (IBUF) serves as the international governing body for Butthan, entrusted with global governance and the standardization of rules to ensure consistency, fairness, and integrity across all affiliated regions.

The Federation promotes education, ethics, and the unique co-competition philosophy that defines Butthan, while safeguarding athlete development, safety, and fair play.

IBUF establishes accreditation frameworks for instructors, referees, and officials, and provides oversight for competitions and events at national and international levels. Through structured international affiliation and institutional coordination, IBUF supports the organized growth of Butthan worldwide, while continuously advancing the system through research, documentation, and responsible development.

IBUF works to ensure uniform rules, fair competition, qualified instruction, and the preservation of Butthan’s core values across all affiliated countries and institutions.
